Colorado Exports

I have wanted to post about Colorado exports for awhile now, since my Colorado blood runs deep. The current global hyper-trend is Crocs, that I mentioned in my Dead Sea post.

But I wanted to highlight a few companies that many don’t know come from “Colorful Colorado” (used to be the State’s marketing motto – not sure what craziness is in fashion today).

• Crocs – From TrendSpotting.
• Samsonite
• Celestial Seasonings
• Mountainsmith

Some others (not so glamorous IMO) I have to mention:

• Molson Coors – Water exporter (but Blue Moon is decent)
• Newmont Mining
• Quizno’s
• Janus Funds

Many others to mentioned, especially if you are in Telcom or Energy, and I wish more CO Microbrew made it out East.
